When It Isn't Even Spring.

Today was one of those days.
It felt a little like this:

I have written myself a counteractive prescription for indefinite doses of rooibos, nonfictional reading, and absolutely NO chick flicks. Don't get me wrong- i love any form of romance, but i think sometimes an overdose can do more harm then good, encouraging one to fall in love with love. So in a final bid to regain some sense of rationality, i went outside and enjoyed the fading sunshine (and my newly thrifted denim shirt!)Do excuse the nature of the picatures. My camera has become increasingly temperamental, and today decided to place a rose-tinted haze over everything. while initially irritating, it ended up seeming sort of appropriate, so i let it be.

On a side note, The Sydney Festival opening night on saturday was AMAZING. Hyde Park was full of decorated trees, light shows, live music, and a continuous lineup of circus acts! all you sydneysiders/nearby tourists should seriously consider attending some of the festival's upcoming events - there are dance/acrobatics troup performances all over, as well as some top notch theatre productions... and even Grizzly Bear!
Check it all out here.
